kinda neat...check out my twitter updates on the right side of the page.
it's the little things that get me through the day. a lunch time phone call from my sweetie cheered me up so much i am actually getting some work done and have decided that life does not suck as much as it did a few hours ago.
it's taco tuesday! bring on the margaritas.
it's a three day weekend and i have a date with the russian river, an inflatable canoe, a cooler packed with lunch, rum and beer, and both my sweeties.
i have a good job as crappy as the commute and the corporate policies go.
i have a warm bed and a fridge full of food and friends who love me.
it's the little things i have to take the time to remind myself of when i start sinking in to a hole...
it is a teeny, tiny pinhole of a light, but it's out there and i'm heading straight for it.
life has a way of only throwing you as much as you can handle. sometimes in the midst of this, we forget that fact and can only see the struggle, the pain, the negative.
it is what it is. the fact that i am about to quote my father makes this post even more confusing (don't ask, it's been a long night) but i digress. so my father always told me "there is always something positive in every negative". and he really is right (gawd, this irritates me). as much as you hate to hear that when you are in the middle of a pity party, or a confusing situation or struggle or even a real honest to goodness crisis, it is always true.
there is a light. there is hope. you just have to take the first step and LOOK FOR IT. it's there. and so am i! i promise.
